Certified Medication Technician
Working under general supervision, the Medication Technician is responsible for administering medication to clients while ensuring the safety of the clients. The Medication Technician is responsible for monitoring, stocking, verifies identity matches medicine before administering to the client. This position is subject to working overtime as needed and to remain past shift until replacement coverage has arrived.
Education/Experience: A minimum of (1) year related experience in and/or training clinical aspects of the job; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certified Peer Support Specialist
The position is for Family Reunification CPS Court Full Time. Seeking someone with Recovery Support Peer Specialist (RSPS) Medicaid or PSS Certification with TCBAP. Only seeking serious inquiries, please. Under general supervision, the Recovery Support Services (RSS) Recovery Coach is responsible to the RSS Director. The RSS Recovery Coach must provide tracking data for sustainability of quality case management services. The RSS Recovery Coach / Peer Recovery Support Specialist is responsible for ensuring services to help clients address economic, child care, employment, education, health, housing, transportation, life skills, parenting, recovery, federal, state and local assistance, vocational assistance, GED referrals and family needs, in addition to identified substance abuse and mental health issues.
Education/Experience: A high school diploma or General Equivalent Diploma (GED) required. Completion of RSPS/MHPS Intern Status. Previous experience in recovery and crisis intervention required. Knowledge of substance use, recovery principles/values and peer ethical standards required.
Child Care Provider
The Childcare Provider is responsible for maintaining all records, attendance and timesheets. Completes assessments of all infants and children as assigned.

Under limited supervision, the COPSD Counselor will be responsible for the clinical management of up to 20 clients and for the co-occurring psychiatric and substance use disorder services of these clients, ensuring individualized treatment, adherence to program schedule, documentation of services and utilization of evidence-based curriculum. This position is required to provide a minimum of 30 hours per week of individual/case management face-to-face contact.
Education/Experience: Two years’ experience in addiction counseling and COPSD services, knowledge of co-occurring psychiatric and substance use disorders and the ability to follow prescribed curriculum. Completion of following Blue Basin training: Understanding of Motivational Enhancement Therapy; trauma, abuse and neglect, violence, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and related conditions, COPSD services, and Medicaid.

Director for Outpatient and COPSD Program
The Outpatient Program Manager oversees the operations of outpatient clinical programs and COPSD programs including ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, implementation of clinical programming, regulatory compliance, and supervision of the outpatient and COPSD counselors. The Program Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with outside agencies and referral sources. The Program Manager ensures clinical coverage for all outpatient programs and COPSD services. This position is subject to working evenings.
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or higher in social work, counseling, criminal justice, or related field from four-year college or university. Candidates should have a minimum of three years’ experience working with clients with co-occurring substance use and psychiatric disorders. Understanding of Motivational Enhancement Therapy or motivational interviewing techniques; trauma, abuse and neglect, violence, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PRSD) and related conditions; COPSD services; and Medicaid, Transitional Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), and Children’s Health Insurance (CHIP) eligibility. Demonstrated knowledge of CMHBS and clinical supervision.

House Manager
Working under limited supervision, the House Manager resides onsite and is responsible for inspecting and cleaning the residence, enforcing house rules, and overseeing residents including coming and going from the residence. Other responsibilities include orienting new residents and assisting with their transition into and from the residence. The House Manager will promote the Social Model philosophy that reinforces healthy living skills and associated values, attitudes, and connection with self and community for sustaining recovery.
Education/Experience: High school diploma, or general education degree (GED), or one to three years’ related management experience preferably in a residential environment. Annual completion of following Blue Basin training: Understanding of Motivational Enhancement Therapy; trauma, abuse and neglect, violence, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and related conditions or other approved, equivalent training.
Parent Counselor/Coach
Under limited supervision, the Parent Coach provides community based outreach, screening and other intervention services to pregnant and postpartum women with substance use disorders or who are at risk of developing substance use disorders. This position requires extensive travel across the greater Houston area and surrounding counties, including occasional evening and weekend hours based on client needs.
Receptionist/Security Evening Shift 2pm-10pm
Under direct supervision, the Receptionist is the primary point of contact for Santa Maria Hostel. The Receptionist is responsible for handling incoming and routing calls greeting visitors, granting access to the property, responding to inquiries from the public, providing information about the organization and exercising a high level of customer service to our clients, staff and visitors. The Receptionist contributes to the security of the organization by helping monitor visitor access and ensuring that all visitors log in to the appropriate manuals. This position works at the Parker location.
Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months’ related experience in and/or training clinical aspects of the job; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience working in clinical services is preferred. Annual completion of following Blue Basin training: Understanding of Motivational Enhancement Therapy; trauma, abuse and neglect, violence, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and related conditions or other approved, equivalent training.
Receptionist/Scheduler
Under direct supervision, the Scheduler/Receptionist is the first point of contact for I-CARE Clinic guests. The Scheduler/Receptionist is responsible for scheduling new and established patients, providing callbacks and rescheduling as needed, handling incoming calls, greeting visitors, granting access to the property, responding to inquiries from the public, assisting in data collection and data entry, providing information about the organization and exercising a high level of customer service to our participants/patients, staff and visitors. The Scheduler/Receptionist contributes to the security of the organization by helping monitor visitor access and ensuring that all visitors log in to the appropriate manuals. This position requires excellent customer service skills and strong computer literacy. The successful candidate will be comfortable interacting with a diverse range of individuals including those with mental health and substance use challenges. Ability to converse with patients/visitors in Spanish preferred.
Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); at least six months’ direct related experience in and/or training clinical aspects of the job; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience working in a clinic/healthcare environment is strongly preferred. Annual completion of required training.
Recovery Advocate
Working under general supervision, the Recovery Advocate is responsible for supporting the admission of clients while ensuring the safety of staff and the clients. The Recovery Advocate is responsible for monitoring the Recovery Advocate station 24/7 and for maintaining its appearance. This position is subject to working overtime as needed and to remain past shift until replacement coverage has arrived.
Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience in and/or training clinical aspects of the job; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Recovery Coach
Under general supervision, the Recovery Support Services (RSS) Recovery Coach is responsible to the RSS Director. The RSS Recovery Coach must provide tracking data for sustainability of quality service delivery.

Full RSPS certification or RSPS-I active status or equivalent combination of education and experience in the field. Previous experience in recovery-oriented systems of care and crisis intervention required. Knowledge of substance use, and ethical standards required.
Van Driver/Recovery Advocate
Under general supervision, the Van Driver is primarily responsible for transporting clients. Van Drivers are also responsible for supply pickups, general vehicle cleanliness and routine maintenance. Van Drivers may perform duties of a Recovery Advocate.
Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience in a residential setting preferred.
