Caring For Two/Pregnant and Post Partum Intervention

The Caring For Two program is geared towards improving birth outcomes by providing community based outreach and intervention services for pregnant and postpartum women in order to decrease risk factors for substance use disorders and promote a healthy lifestyle.
Caring For Two strives to achieve the following results:
- Decrease the risk factors for substance use disorders
- Promote a healthy lifestyle without substance use
- Increase knowledge and adoption of healthy behaviors during pregnancy and parenting
- Improve birth outcomes that result in fewer drug and alcohol-exposed births
Caring For Two offers the following services:
- Screening and Assessment
- Case Management
- Parenting classes and coaching
- Baby basics and safety education
- Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD) education
- Counseling to address effects of trauma
- Individual and Group Counseling
- Prenatal needs
- Social Activities
- Referrals for substance use disorders treatment and other physical and mental health needs
