MIRRORS
(Maternal Initiative for Reflective Recovery-Oriented Residential Services)
“When I was in the height of my addiction I didn’t realize that I was destroying my entire family. Through therapy, we have all learned to cope with my issues and celebrate my recovery.”
-Janice
The MIRRORS program provides integrated, family-focused medical and behavioral health services for current residential pregnant and postpartum clients, their children, and other family members. In partnership with Baylor College of Medicine, MIRRORS utilizes the Nurturing Parent and Celebrating Families curriculum and offers critical services like case management, family and child therapy, and Court Liaison services. A unique component of the program is the provision of Family Coaches that will develop family service and reunification plans, work with CPS caseworkers and mediate any family conferencing sessions.
