A first step in recovery, this unique program is the only one of its kind in the region offering detoxification services to non-insured women and women with their children in residence. Our medical staff monitors withdrawal from alcohol, sedatives and opiates. Women are encouraged to transition into residential treatment following detox.
Residential medical detoxification’s function is to medically supervise clients to assure their stability while weaning or “detoxing” from drugs or alcohol. In partnership with two physicians from the Baylor College of Medicine and nurses from Santa Maria, the detoxification program is staffed 24 hours a day/7 days a week.
