Intensive Residential Treatment

Santa Maria Hostel offers different levels of service for women looking to change their direction in life. In our 30-day Intensive Residential Program, clients are taught to stabilize their addictive behavior while gaining knowledge of their addiction. Women who are admitted to this program will attend 30 hours per week of groups to include parenting education, life skills, addiction education, relapse prevention, family education, GED services and women- specific groups.

All of the treatment efforts toward life change and reunification hinge on the ability of the client to abstain from alcohol or other drugs. To assist them, Santa Maria Hostel encourages clients to participate in 12-step recovery. All clients with a history of psychological or psychiatric problems are assessed to determine their need for assessment and referral to the integrated services for co-occurring psychiatric and substance use disorders.
